Each year from December through March, humpback whales arrive in the warm waters of Bahía de Banderas to breed and raise their young, transforming the bay into one of the most extraordinary wildlife encounters on Mexico's Pacific coast.
Experiencing these animals from the water is something else entirely. Close enough to hear their breath, to feel their presence, to witness breaches, tail slaps, and intimate mother and calf interactions that cannot be replicated from land.
